Jodi Gruner, BA, CBSP, is an experienced Economic Development Specialist with a strong background in business and community development. Currently at the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development since October 2012, Jodi coordinates with various stakeholders to promote growth in the agricultural sector and provides technical assistance to overcome barriers for businesses and communities. Prior experience includes serving as a Business Development Specialist at The Right Place, where Jodi led initiatives for small to medium-sized manufacturers and collaborated on food safety training programs. Jodi's earlier role as Sales & Marketing Manager at Grand Rapids Community College involved expanding customer bases and enhancing program quality. Jodi holds a BA in Marketing and Communications from the University of Michigan and an Innovation Methods Certification from New North in Holland, MI.
