Billy Parker serves as the Fire Chief for Blair Township Emergency Services since December 2017 and has been a Training Coordinator and Lead Fire Instructor at Northwest Regional Fire Training Center since August 2010. With a background in emergency services, Parker held the position of Lieutenant and Training Officer at Glen Lake Fire Department from January 2009 to December 2017, and served as Deputy Director for the Office of Emergency Management in Leelanau County in 2017. Additionally, Parker has extensive experience in sports officiating since 1995 with the Michigan High School Athletic Association, including roles as a Minor League Umpire and Assignor for high school football in Northern Michigan. Parker obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fire Services Administration and an Associate of Science in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University.
