Artero W is an experienced educator currently serving as a Part-Time Lecturer at Washtenaw Community College since January 2023 and a Teacher at Detroit Public Schools Community District since September 2019, focusing on improving academic achievement in grades 2-8, particularly in Reading and Mathematics. Previous roles include Sports Referee for the Michigan High School Athletic Association since October 2015, High School Social Studies Teacher at American International Academy from October 2018 to June 2019, and Long Term Substitute Teacher at Mumford High School from August 2017 to June 2018. Artero W holds a Master of Education in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education/African Studies and two Bachelor's degrees in World History and Political Science from Eastern Michigan University, as well as an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Wayne County Community College District.
