Tamara El-Khoury is an experienced development professional with a diverse background in nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Development Manager at Michigan Environmental Council since August 2024, El-Khoury previously held the position of Director at the Center for Arab American Philanthropy, where the focus was on enhancing philanthropic resources within the Arab American community. Further experience includes serving as Director of Development at St. Vincent Catholic Charities, Senior Associate of Donor and Public Relations at Capital Area United Way, and Major Gifts Officer at Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery. Earlier roles encompassed Development & Communications Manager at Community Home Trust and Grant Writer at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, along with a background in journalism as a Reporter for the St. Petersburg Times. El-Khoury holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Government & Politics from the University of Maryland.
