Lahiru Eranga Jayawardane is an experienced professional in the field of information security and network administration, currently serving as an Infrastructure Security Operations Specialist at Michelin since March 2023. Previously held the position of Senior Information Security Engineer at Seylan Bank PLC from December 2020 to March 2023, and Executive - Information Security at Aitken Spence for a brief period in 2020. Extensive experience includes a role as Technical Officer (Network & Security) at the University of Colombo School of Computing from January 2017 to January 2020, and earlier positions such as Associate Engineer at Security and Information Technology Executive at Helanet International. Academic qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Computer Networks from the University of Wolverhampton, a Master’s degree in Information Security from Asia e University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, supplemented by certifications from Cisco Networking Academy and WinSys in CCNA and CCNP (switching & routing).
