Alaa Hammouda is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at MICEtribe since August 2022, Alaa focuses on establishing a self-managed tech team and streamlining processes for feature delivery. Previous roles include software engineer at Qatar Computing Research Institute, where Alaa contributed to a large-scale social media analysis platform, and founder of Pichu, an innovative app aimed at promoting health-conscious consumer choices. Alaa's career also includes significant positions at MICEtribe, the Ministry of Telecom and Communication, and various Google Developer Groups, showcasing a strong background in web development and event organization. Alaa holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Islamic University of Gaza and a Frontend Nano Degree from Udacity.
