Annemiek van Mierlo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2006, they worked as an Inbound Employee at The Dutch Postcode Lottery. From 2007 to 2008, they interned at Stadsarchief Breda, focusing on old photography collections and completing a course on old photo procedures. In 2009, they joined the Proud Group as a Press Assistant intern, assisting with press-related tasks and front desk duties. Around the same time, they also worked at A-Gallery as a Gallery Assistant.
At Spotzer Media Group, they worked from 2009 to 2014 in various roles. As a Client Content Manager, they collaborated with Dutch partners, including DTG, and handled photo and video shoots and client content. As a Talent Manager, they were responsible for managing freelancers in 16 countries, including recruiting, training, and addressing any queries or issues.
From 2016 to 2017, Annemiek worked in Customer Service at DeLaMar Theater. Annemiek then joined Greetz, where they held multiple positions from 2018 to 2020. As a Medewerker Customer Service, they provided customer support, followed by a role as a Senior Customer Service Agent. Finally, they served as a QA Specialist, focusing on quality assurance.
Currently, Annemiek is working at Micazu in the role of Customer Care & Quality, starting in September 2021.
Annemiek van Mierlo pursued their education in various fields over the years. In 2004-2005, they attended EF International Language Campuses, where they obtained a degree in Cambridge Proficiency in English. Later, from 2006 to 2012, they attended the Reinwardt Academie and earned a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage. Finally, in 2014-2016, they enrolled at the Fotovakschool Amsterdam to study Photography, although it is not specified if they completed a degree in this field.
