Matthew has over a decade's experience connecting brands and audiences through digital experiences.

Prior to joining the Sports and Entertainment industry, Matthew was a Partner at Simplikate, a tech startup where he built and grew an award-winning mobile app development platform used by companies like Verizon, Mandarin Oriental, Westfield Malls and more. Following a successful exit, Matthew went on to lead Product Development for Phunware, a leading enterprise cloud platform for mobile, which provides software, solutions, data and services for brands worldwide.

Now with the Miami HEAT, Matthew’s impact on executing the franchise’s mobile-centric, technology-driven mandate has been immediate and wide-ranging. From implementing mobile only entry for all HEAT home games to unveiling a best-in-class mobile app to parsing analytics that inform real time business decisions—Jafarian has brought all his tech savvy know-how to downtown Miami.
