Jorge Mederos has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications for Miami-Dade County since 1997, overseeing application development and support across various county departments. Previous roles include Division Director for Data Center & Cloud Computing, focusing on infrastructure modernization, and Information Technology Manager for Network Security, where leadership of system and security administrators occurred. Further experience encompasses roles as a Senior Systems Administrator and Systems Administrator, with responsibilities in network services and server infrastructure. In addition to practical IT roles, Jorge Mederos has contributed to education as a Cyber Security Instructor at ThriveDX and served as an adjunct instructor at Florida International University and Miami Dade College. Educational achievements include a Master's in Management Information Systems and various leadership and project management certifications from Florida International University.
