João Galvão Gomes is a dedicated professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in project management and product lifecycle management. Currently serving as the Risks & Opportunities Manager and Performance PMO for Airbus Canada at MI-GSO | PCUBED, João has successfully managed the implementation of PLM software for Stellantis while also overseeing ongoing powertrain projects. Prior experience includes an internship as a mechanical engineer at data M Sheet Metal Solutions GmbH, where João focused on rollforming modeling, and a role as an HVAC Systems Designer during an internship at Ingeniería Atlántico, S.A, involving the design of systems for skyscraper projects. João holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
