Luis Enrique Acosta Valdez has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Luis Enrique started their career as a Founder of a pre-cooked pork meat commercialization business in 2009, where they focused on increasing product awareness through advertising campaigns and tasting events. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Chief of Production at San Sabor. Luis Enrique then worked as an Industrial Engineer at Emerson Climate Technologies from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, Luis completed a summer internship at Bain & Company. Luis Enrique later joined Akya as a Consultant from 2018 to 2019. Luis then transitioned to roles at Rappi, starting as an Operations Territory Manager from 2019 to 2021 and later becoming the Head of Territories Operations. In 2021, they took on the role of Head of Operations at Colektia, where they remained until 2022. Currently, Luis Enrique Acosta Valdez is the Chief Operations Officer at Mi Compa since December 2022.

Luis Enrique Acosta Valdez obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, with a major in Operations Management, from Universidad Panamericana from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they briefly studied European Industrial Management at Universitat Politècnica de València in 2011.
