Brenisen Wheeler is a dedicated mental health practitioner currently working at Mental Health Systems, Inc. since January 2025. Previously, Brenisen served as a clinical support intern and clinical intern at NUWAY Alliance from January to December 2024. Brenisen also held roles as a HIIT and yoga instructor at Skybox Gyms from November 2021 to December 2024 and as the community education and outreach manager at Women's Advocates, Inc. from April 2019 to September 2022, where significant contributions included program development and partnership building. Brenisen's early experience includes serving as a community adviser and peer mentor at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, undergraduate research assistant in a lab focused on identity and culture, and various intern roles related to psychology and health disparities. Brenisen holds a Master of Arts in Co-Occurring Disorders and Addictions Counseling from Adler Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
