Rafaela Sabedra Rios has extensive experience in organizational learning and development, currently serving as an Organizational Learning and Development Specialist at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. since October 2018, with previous roles including Organizational Learning and Development Coordinator and Parenting Coordinator. Prior to this, Rafaela worked at Hope Haven Inc. from August 2001 to September 2018 as the Families Coordinator, overseeing program implementation and resident activities. Early career roles included positions as a Substance Abuse Counselor for both adolescents and adults at MHMR/PBCC FACES and Turning Point Programs, where Rafaela provided counseling services and managed client caseloads. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an Associate of Arts in Human Services from Odessa College, along with additional studies at The University of Texas Permian Basin.
