Michael Brassard is the current Director at MHA. Michael has also served as the Executive Director at PROVIDENCE MINISTRIES FOR THE NEEDY INC from September 2020 to December 2020, and Managing Director at the Michael J. Dias Foundation from May 2018 to January 2021. From January 2016 to July 2022, they were a Board Member at MHA - Springfield, MA. Michael was also a Training Specialist, LADC II, CADC at Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) from September 2013 to February 2018, where they assisted in the development and facilitation of Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS) training's for licensing requirements. Michael is a certified instructor for Crisis Prevention Intervention, CPR First Aid/AED Training, A.L.I.C.E., and E.O. 509 Instructor. From September 2011 to September 2013, they served as the Intake Coordinator at Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Nonprofit. Prior to that, they were the General Manager at Silo's Steak House from August 2008 to August 2009, and Seasons Tickets Sports Bar from May 2004 to April 2007.
Michael Brassard has a degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Michael also has a degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Springfield Technical Community College. In addition, they have a degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Westfield State University.
