Marykay Wells is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Marykay serves as a member of the Board of Directors for MGT and Rewriting the Code, and as a member of the CIO Advisory Board at Salesforce since 2017. Marykay holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Pearson since 2014, where responsibilities have also included serving as SVP and Chief Technology Officer for Enterprise Architecture and Core Platforms. Previous roles include membership on the Technical Council at Greycroft, participation in the Research Board at Gartner from 2019 to July 2022, and Chief Information Officer positions at Extreme Networks, Tekelec, and Nortel, spanning from 1988 to 2014. Marykay is an alumnus of Clarkson University.
