Hugh Brown is an experienced professional with a diverse background in real estate and energy management. Currently serving as an Independent Contractor at MGIC since August 2012, Brown specializes in reviewing appraisals and collaborating with the fraud division on residential properties in the Capital District. Previously, Brown worked as an Associate Broker at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Tech Valley from June 2016 to December 2019, offering over 29 years of residential real estate experience. Prior to that, Brown was a Licensed Broker at Remax for nearly three decades, focusing on rental property management. With a solid foundation in power systems, Brown held roles at NYISO from September 1983 to April 2012, including Control Room Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator, and earlier worked as a Steam Dispatcher at Con Edison from June 1973 to September 1983. Brown holds an Associate degree in Business from Nassau Community College, attended from 1970 to 1971.
