Alex Ryo Shimotake is an accomplished product designer currently working at Trane Technologies since May 2024, with additional roles at MF&K and M-Tech. Previously, Alex served as a Senior Graphic Designer at SkySlope, where responsibilities included establishing branding standards and creating graphic materials for various departments. A diverse background in graphic design is evident through past positions with ASUCD Creative Media and UCSF Medical Center, alongside leadership roles such as Designer and President for the Japanese Language and Culture Connection at UC Davis. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Design from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2019, and has been recognized for contributions in design and illustration, including an award for a cartoon at Acalanes High School Newspaper.
