Marcel Koenig has extensive experience in the development and optimization of solar cell technologies and manufacturing equipment. With a background in mechatronics and micro and semiconductor technologies, Marcel has held various leadership positions related to process development and research in companies such as GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Meyer Burger Technology AG. Marcel is currently the Head of Global RnD at Meyer Burger Technology AG, overseeing the development of PV manufacturing equipment and solar cell and module technologies on a global scale. Marcel's expertise lies in improving cell and module production KPIs and driving innovation in the industry.
