Jari Nurkkala is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction and design industries. Currently serving as the Tekninen johtaja at Metsätervas Oy since January 2025, Jari has also been the owner of T:mi Jari Nurkkala since 1995, focusing on building control and principal design. Previous roles include Toimitusjohtaja and Suunnittelupäällikkö at Dekotalo from January 2021 to October 2024, and a range of positions at Kastelli-talot Oy from 1998 to 2020, including Asennus- ja tuotekehityspäällikkö and Rakennesuunnittelija. Jari has contributed to academia as a part-time instructor at Oulu University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2017, and has held earlier positions in real estate and sales. Jari holds a rakennusinsinööri degree in repair construction from Oulun ammattikorkeakoulu, obtained between 2003 and 2007, and a rakennusmestari degree in building construction from Oulun teknillinen oppilaitos, completed from 1991 to 1994.
