Henna Ruuska is an experienced professional with a strong background in materials technology and physical chemistry. Currently serving as Development Manager for Barrier Development at Metsä Board since January 2022, Henna specializes in biobarrier development and capability enhancement for barrier products. Previous roles include Product Development Engineer at Ab RaniPlast Oy, R&D Specialist at Centria University of Applied Sciences, and MSc Thesis worker at Mondi Group. Henna has also held positions at the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency, Tampere University of Technology, University of Uppsala, and University of Joensuu, focusing on research in polymer dielectric materials and theoretical materials chemistry.
