Julie Mussog, CPA, MBA, has extensive experience in financial management and administration, currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments since October 2019. Prior to this role, Mussog held the position of Senior Vice President at MuniCap, Inc. and served as President & CEO of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation from November 2016 to February 2019. As Controller for Anne Arundel County from April 2013 to November 2016, Mussog oversaw a staff of over 70 in the Office of Finance, managing diverse financial functions. Previous roles include Chief of Staff for the State of Maryland and positions in various financial leadership capacities at companies such as NVR, Inc., Dell, Delphi Automotive Systems, and PulteGroup. Mussog holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Finance and a BBA in Accounting, both from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
