Jen Carlson is an experienced media professional with a strong background in editorial management and content creation. Currently serving as Senior Promotions Manager and Content Manager at Metropolitan Transportation Authority since April 2022, Jen previously held roles at New York Public Radio as NYC Editor and Editor for Gothamist + WNYC from March 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included co-leading the NYC Accountability Desk and overseeing editorial coverage across multiple desks. Jen’s tenure at Gothamist.com from May 2004 to March 2018 included positions such as Editorial Director, Deputy Editor, and Arts & Entertainment Editor, where significant achievements included growing the company’s audience and managing original content production.
