Gunther Schieb is currently the Director of Contracts at Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas since October 2016. Prior to this role, Schieb held the position of Manager of Contracts at the same company since August 1986. Before joining the Metropolitan Transit Authority, Schieb worked as a Mechanical Buyer at Anadrill Schlumberger from 1981 to 1986, where Gunther coordinated and administered the company's drill collar program. Schieb holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Cleveland State University.
