Deborah Mayfield currently serves as the Director of Commuter Services at the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, a position held since May 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing the Regional Vanpool and commuter services program. Prior to this role, Deborah worked at the Houston-Galveston Area Council as a Senior Business Development Coordinator and Principal Program Coordinator for the Commute Solutions Program from May 2019 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Ridership Development Officer at Metro from March 2018 to May 2019, where Deborah coordinated corporate sales and marketing activities. Additional professional history includes a tenure as Senior Account Representative at 2Plus of Texas - Metro STAR and an Account Executive role at VHA Inc. Deborah holds an Associate of Arts degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Houston Community College and further education from the University of Houston-Victoria.
