Dave Kinney is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and video production. Currently serving as the Media Lab Coordinator and Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 2005, Dave instructs various communication courses, including Intermediate and Advanced Single Camera Video Production, Advanced Video Editing, and Directing & Lighting. As the owner of Fade to Black Media, LLC since January 2004, Dave has also contributed to education as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the Colorado Film School from 2005 to 2006. Prior roles include serving as a Videographer/Editor and Studio Supervisor at Rocky Mountain PBS from 1996 to 2003, and as Director/Editor at WSKG Public Media from 1987 to 1996. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communications from Metropolitan State University of Denver and an Associate of Applied Science in Communications from SUNY Broome Community College.
