Sarah Groh is a seasoned professional in visitor experience and event management, currently serving as the Director of Visitor Experience at the Metropolitan Opera since June 2022. With a robust background including roles at the New Museum of Contemporary Art and New York Botanical Garden, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in project management, operational oversight, and staff supervision across various high-profile institutions. Previous experience encompasses significant positions at the California Academy of Sciences and the Exploratorium, where Sarah managed guest operations, executed event logistics, and enhanced customer service. Sarah holds a BA in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of California, Santa Cruz, complemented by studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an AA in Art History from Cabrillo College.
