Domonique F. McCord, LCSW, EMDR has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles. In 2005, they served as the Director of Community Programs and Outreach Services at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Coordinated School Health Specialist at Chicago Public Schools. Domonique F. also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Dominican University from 2013 to 2013, teaching a seminar on interventions with family systems in a global environment. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as the Program Manager of Family Services at Holsten Human Capital Development, NFP. Starting in 2016, McCord took on the role of Field Liaison at Loyola University Chicago, and later became a Core Field Consultant at the University of Chicago from 2016 to 2019. Domonique F. worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Northeastern Illinois University from 2011 to 2019. In addition, McCord founded their own private practice called DFM Wellness Alliance, LLC in 2010, focusing on providing practical coping skills and insight to clients. Currently, they hold the positions of Director of Behavioral Health Services at Metropolitan Peace Initiatives since 2019 and Chief Program Officer at Metropolitan Family Services since 2023. Domonique F. is also a Board Member at Phoenix Clinic Chicago since 2022. Throughout their career, McCord has developed expertise in program management, community outreach, teaching, and providing clinical services.

Domonique F. McCord, LCSW, EMDR, holds a Master's Degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, which was obtained between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, McCord completed a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University, which was earned from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their academic degrees, McCord has obtained several certifications. In April 2007, McCord became a Master Social Worker and a Clinical Social Worker through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. McCord also received EMDR training from The Institute for Creative Mindfulness in November 2020. Most recently, in December 2021, McCord obtained Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) Certification from Evergreen Certifications.
