Alice Chen is a founding engineer at Metronome. Alice previously worked as a senior software engineer at New Relic, Inc. from January 2018 to September 2020. Prior to that, they were a software developer at App Academy from May 2017 to August 2017. From February 2014 to December 2016, they worked as a project manager and administrator at Orton Entertainment, LLC. dba Craneway Pavilion & Assemble Restaurant. From October 2012 to December 2013, they were a marketing and website assistant at UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley.

Alice Chen's educational career includes a degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. Alice also has a degree in computer software engineering from App Academy. Additionally, they have a high school diploma from El Cerrito High School.
