Murugs Muruganandan P.Eng; PMP is a seasoned engineering and project management professional with extensive experience in the transportation sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager - Technical Services Lead and Senior Project Manager at Metrolinx since March 2014, Murugs is responsible for the Eglinton Crosstown Project's East Tunnel for Rapid Transit. Previously, as Manager of Civil Infrastructures at GO Transit, Murugs managed complex rail and road grade separations for a high-profile Toronto project. At AECOM from May 2007 to June 2010, Murugs oversaw the design and construction of multiple subway rail and bus rapid transit projects for the Toronto Transit Commission. Early career experience includes managing design review teams as Design Manager/Senior Engineer at Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation from August 2002 to December 2006. Murugs holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Ceylon, Sri Lanka, and education from the Royal College, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
