Mark Baillie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mark started their career at Winpak as a Project Manager in 1999. Mark then moved on to SNO, where they served as an Operations Manager from 2001 to 2009. In 2009, they joined the City of Toronto as an Operations Manager at Union Station. Since 2014, Mark has been with Metrolinx, starting as the Chief of Bus Fleet & Facilities and progressing through various roles such as Chief of Business Transformation, Director of Network Operations Control, and VP of GO Expansion & Transformation. Mark is currently the Vice President of Network Operations at Metrolinx.
Mark Baillie's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen's University, an MBA with a concurrent CPA program from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba. In addition, they hold certifications as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA) from CPA Ontario, a Professional Engineer (PEng) from Professional Engineers Ontario, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
