Rene Sharifrazi is an experienced sales and business development professional with a strong background in the analytical and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Area Sales Manager-Western Zone and Senior Analytical System Sales Specialist at Metrohm USA since January 2012, Rene is responsible for expanding product lines through demonstrations, tradeshows, and customer engagement across a diverse territory. Prior experience includes roles as Scientist and Business Development at Advantar Labs, where contributions were made to pharmaceutical product development, and as Business Development & Sales at Catalent, where a high volume of client engagement was maintained. Earlier positions at Union Bank of California and the San Diego Unified School District showcased strong customer relationship development abilities. Rene holds a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with a minor in Psychology from UC San Diego.
