Cyrus Irani has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1982, they started their career at Xerox as a Manager in the R&D department of the Document Systems Business Unit. Cyrus held this position until 1990.
From 1989 to 1993, Irani worked as the Director of Product Marketing at Retix Corporation. Cyrus then joined Teradata Corporation in 1993 as a Product Line Manager for Client Applications, where they stayed until 1994.
In 1994, Irani co-founded Alchemy Group, a company that provided IP-based networking products and services. Cyrus served as the President and CEO of Alchemy Group until 1996, successfully securing two large OEM customers and expanding the business.
In 1996, Irani joined Vertel Corporation, initially as the VP of Marketing, Business Development, or Professional Services. Cyrus later became the President, COO, and eventually the CEO of the company. During their time at Vertel Corporation, Irani started several new product and service business units, achieving year-on-year growth.
In 2002, Irani joined Strix Systems, a wireless LAN equipment provider. Cyrus served as the Sr. VP and Co-Founder, responsible for product and channel partnerships, strategic customer accounts, company strategy, marketing, product management, technical sales, and customer support. Cyrus remained with Strix Systems until 2006.
From 2006 to 2008, Irani worked as the CEO of EchoMobile, a position that allowed him to further develop their leadership skills.
In 2006, Irani also started their own consultancy called Strategy, Marketing, and Business Development Consultancy, where they served as the Principal and President of Elan Company until 2011.
In 2009, Irani became the CEO of MetroGuild, Inc., a digital/social marketing and software development company. With MetroGuild, they designed and developed a suite of software apps specializing in acquiring customer information and incorporating it into a marketing and lead management system called MetroLeads.
Most recently, in 2017, Irani became the Managing Partner at Hyper Velocity Group, a company focused on strategic sales, brand development, content creation, and customer management technology.
Cyrus Irani attended Occidental College from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Cyrus'sfield of study was Chemistry, with a minor in Psychology.
