Rory McKeown is an experienced news professional with a robust background in journalism. Currently serving as News Editor at Metro since December 2021, Rory previously held the position of Assistant Editor at Reach plc, working on Daily Star from May 2019 to December 2021. Rory's career includes roles as Deputy News Editor at Express Newspapers from April 2015 to December 2021, and Senior Reporter at both Southern Daily Echo and The News, Portsmouth, from February 2013 to April 2015 and October 2011 to February 2013, respectively. Beginning as a Senior Reporter at Bridgwater Mercury from February 2008 to October 2011, Rory has developed a comprehensive skill set in news reporting and editing. Educationally, Rory holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Media and Cultural Studies from Solent University, earned between 2004 and 2007, and attended Taunton's College from 2002 to 2004.
