David St John currently serves as the Operations Manager for the Carolinas Division at Metro Elevator since April 2023. With extensive experience in the elevator industry, David held the position of Southeast Region Modernization Operations Manager at Thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas from June 2017 to April 2023, focusing on modernization operations in North and South Carolina. Prior roles at ThyssenKrupp Elevator included East Region NI/Modernization Manager and East District Modernization Manager, as well as various positions from Service Manager to Field Service Technician. Additionally, David contributed to the National Elevator Industry Training Program as an instructor from September 1999 to June 2005 and served as a SGT U.S. Army LCSS Test Specialist in the 25th Infantry Division from September 1981 to August 1985. Educational credentials include studies at Montreat College.
