Lars Wiesner is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Interim CTO at METRO.digital since December 2024. Previously, Lars held the position of SVP Engineering and Operations at Devo from February 2021 to May 2024, where significant achievements included driving a 3x revenue growth, reducing COGS unit costs by 35%, and successfully integrating acquisitions. Before Devo, Lars was VP of Software Engineering at Selligent Marketing Cloud, transforming the engineering organization into a modern DevSecOps setup. Lars additionally held leadership roles at Diebold Nixdorf and SAP, where contributions included overseeing the application platform foundation and being a member of SAP’s Extended Global Leadership Team. Lars holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and has completed several leadership programs at prestigious institutions including MIT and INSEAD.
