Ruben Fiszel is a founder of Windmill, an open-source developer platform, since December 2021. In addition to leading Windmill, Ruben serves as an angel investor for multiple startups including Metriport, Depot, and Lago since September 2022. Previously, Ruben held the position of Software Engineering Lead at Inpher from October 2019 to May 2022, where the focus was on compilers and production-grade products in R&D MPC. At Palantir Technologies, experience included roles as a Forward Deployed Engineer and software engineer, with leadership of the first R&D team "Prospektor." Early career work involved internships at Skymind.io, where Ruben developed an OSS reinforcement learning library, and Crossing-Tech, focusing on NLP models. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, alongside visiting studies at Stanford University and The Johns Hopkins University.
