Ali Erbay has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ali started their career as an intern at AREVA T&D in 2006, where they gained practical insight into power transformer design and construction. Ali then worked as a Field Engineer at Philips Lighting in 2009, where they were responsible for the design and installation of LED lighting on the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul. After that, Ali moved on to Alstom Power in 2011, where they worked as a Research Engineer, conducting parameter studies and investigations of resonances in power plant networks.

In 2013, Ali joined Betsson Group as a Customer Representative, resolving product or service problems for various online brands and providing recommendations to management based on customer needs. Ali later transitioned to the role of Marketing Coordinator at Betsson Group, where they managed marketing activities until 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Ali worked at Internet Global Services AB as a Customer Relationship Management Specialist.

Most recently, Ali joined Metodika AB in 2021 as a Software Developer.

Ali Erbay attended Istanbul Technical University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ali then pursued further education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electric Power Engineering. In 2020, Ali attended Craft Academy and completed a degree in Full-Stack Engineering, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
