Shaan Nelson is an experienced Senior Matchmove Artist currently working at Framestore and Method Studios since August 2022 and August 2021, respectively. Prior to these positions, Shaan served as BodyTracking Supervisor at DNEG from November 2019 to August 2021, and as Production Manager at MIST VFX STUDIO from November 2017 to October 2019. Additional experience includes roles as Head Of Animation at DOCK Communication Pvt Ltd, Animation Supervisor at Mambo Animation, Creative Head at Studio Keyframes, and Roto Animation show lead at The Moving Picture Company. Earlier experience includes character animation at Technicolor Animation. Shaan holds a Diploma in Animation from Picasso Animation College, Delhi, completed in 2007.
