Jacob A. Gines

Associate Principal at method studio

Jacob A. Gines currently holds the positions of Associate Principal and Vice President of Research and Design at Method Studio, a role commenced in July 2015. Additionally, Gines has been an Associate Professor at Mississippi State University School of Architecture since August 2012, contributing to academia through various faculty roles. Prior to Method Studio, Gines worked as a Senior Associate + Designer at the same firm and gained experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. Gines has also served as a Senior Designer + Project Manager at Scholz Architects and held project management roles at Richardson Design Partnership and Carpenter Stringham Architects. Gines began architectural training as an Intern Architect at Scholz + Associates. Educational qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies in Sustainable Bioproducts at Mississippi State University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies also from the University of Utah.
