Emilis Kakanis has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and consulting. Since 2022, Emilis has been working as a Software Developer at Metasite, where they are responsible for the front end development of a business management system. Prior to this, they worked as a Web Developer at Gilius ir Ko starting from 2019. In 2020, Emilis had two concurrent roles, one as a React Developer at Agmis, where they designed and implemented user interfaces for web and mobile apps, and the other as a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer at Digital Sports Tech. From 2018 to 2019, Emilis worked as a Software Consultant at Softera Baltic, and from 2016 to 2017, they served as an IT Consultant at Telia Lietuva.

Emilis Kakanis completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Kaunas University of Technology between the years 2013 and 2017. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed from 2017 to 2020.
