Slavica Tudzarova is a co-founder of Metanoia Bio Inc, a biotech platform focused on functional cell regeneration since July 2020. Tudzarova has also served as an associate professor and adjunct assistant professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in beta cell regeneration and the link between stem cells and diabetes-cancer. Previously, Tudzarova was the Ernst Jung Research Fellow and group leader of the Cell Programming Pathways at University College London, as well as a senior postdoctoral researcher investigating therapeutic targeting of DNA replication initiation and cancer metabolism. Tudzarova began academic training as a PhD student at the Medical University of Vienna, earning a PhD in tumour biology and cancer research. Tudzarova holds a Bachelor of Science in pharmacology from the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" School of Pharmacy.
