Sukrit Shashi Shankar has a wealth of work experience, starting with a Research Scholar role at Google in 2012. Sukrit then moved on to a Research Intern role at Microsoft in 2015, followed by a Research Consultant role at EyeEm in 2016. In 2017, they were a Research Assistant at SeeQuestor and a Researcher at Pupil. In 2018, they were a Head of Research and Development, Advisor, and Consultant at Shapes AI, a Research Consultant at UCL, and a Research Consultant at Winnow. In 2020, they began a Research Consultant/Advisor role at FLOX, and is currently a Senior Researcher at Metail.

Sukrit Shashi Shankar completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Machine Intelligence Lab, Division of Information Processing from the University of Cambridge between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Communications and Signal Processing, Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London between 2010 and 2011.
