Akaam Zain is an experienced Software Engineer currently employed at MetaGravity since September 2021. Prior experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at Virtusa from March to August 2021. In addition to technical roles, Akaam Zain demonstrated leadership skills through various positions at Hill Capital Toastmasters, including President, Vice President Education, Vice President Public Relations, and Vice President of Membership from December 2018 to June 2022. Leadership was also exemplified as Director of Professional Development at the Rotaract Club of SLIIT and as Secretary for the MS Club of SLIIT between May 2020 and July 2021. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Curtin University and a B.Sc (Hons) in Information Technology, Computer Software Engineering from SLIIT, supplemented by foundational education at ècole internationale, Digana.
