Xian Li is an accomplished Research Scientist at Meta, specializing in large language models, responsible AI, and multilingual natural language processing since January 2017. Prior to this role, Xian Li worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Stitch Fix (2015-2016), focusing on natural language understanding and knowledge graphs, and served as a Software Engineer at Google (2014-2015), contributing to machine learning and knowledge graph initiatives. Xian Li's early experience includes quant roles at Credit Suisse (2012) and a quantitative trading engine development at Morgan Stanley (2008-2009). Xian Li holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Beihang University.
