Nabil Hossain is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Roku Inc. since June 2022, specializing in Natural Language Understanding and user engagement optimization. Previously, Nabil served as a Research Scientist at Intel Corporation, focusing on American Sign Language Translation, and as a Doctoral Student at the University of Rochester, concentrating on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Nabil has also gained experience through various internships at leading technology companies, including Facebook AI, Amazon, and Microsoft, working on innovative projects related to text generation, humor detection, and adversarial paraphrase generation. Nabil holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rochester, where education was complemented by degrees from the same institution and Bard College.
