Kat Akbari is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in retail and eCommerce, currently serving as Director at Meta since February 2015. Prior to this role, Kat held several leadership positions at Google from May 2007 to January 2015, including Head of Industry for Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharma & OTC, and Head of Industry for Tech & Telco. Kat's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Art/Art History from Rice University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Film & Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
