Joaquín Herrera Ramos is a skilled Software Engineer with experience in cryptography and backend development. Currently employed at Meta since November 2021, Joaquín specializes in cryptography engineering, focusing on the scalability and resilience of distributed systems. Previous internships include roles at ClimateAI, where Joaquín developed a weather forecasting dashboard; Microsoft, working on the MSAI Team and implementing the Cortana SDK; and Facebook, contributing to the WhatsApp API infrastructure. Joaquín holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey and participated in an exchange program at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
