Igor Podkhodov is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and team leadership across various prominent technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Zoox since April 2021, Igor oversees the development of a robotaxi service with multiple teams focusing on ride-hailing apps, fleet backend, and in-vehicle components. Prior experience includes roles as Engineering Manager at Facebook, where Igor worked on remote presence projects, and Tech Lead/Manager at Snap Inc., leading teams responsible for the Snapchat camera application. Additional significant positions were held at Google, Netflix, Tango Me, NetTacle Ltd, Hoyos Labs, and Samsung Electronics, involving various technical projects and implementations in Android and cross-platform development. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Saint-Petersburg State University.
