Hsuang-Mao (Raymond) Jian is an Optical Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. since February 2021, focusing on the design of surveillance cameras. Previously, Hsuang-Mao served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona from August 2019 to December 2020, instructing courses in Applied Optics and Aberrations. A Camera Hardware Engineering Intern at Google during summer 2020, Hsuang-Mao addressed camera module integration challenges for the Google Pixel phone. Earlier experience includes a Product Development Internship at Sunny Optical Technology, specializing in mobile phone lens design, and military service as a Corporal with the ROC Army in Taiwan, where the specialty was Artillery Observer. Hsuang-Mao holds a Master's degree in Optical Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Photonic Engineering from Yuan-Ze University.
