Hossein Hamooni is a seasoned professional in machine learning and software engineering, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Meta since August 2019, where contributions include work on Generative AI and privacy mitigations. Prior experience includes holding the position of ML Research Scientist at Visa, focusing on recommendation systems and fraud detection, and serving as a Research Assistant at the University of New Mexico. Hossein co-founded Farazpardazan and has completed internships at Visa and NEC Laboratories America. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico, a Master's in Computer Networks from Amirkabir University of Technology, and a Bachelor's in Software Engineering from the same institution.
